When I first signed the contract it said I was leaving today. This morning I woke up and had my flight info for a week from today. Not bad since that still gives me about a week to settle into Seoul before I start teaching. Tuesday the 27th I have to be at the airport around 5AM and will have an 18 hour journey to travel forward in time and arrive in South Korea 36 hours in the future. Yeah time zones are funny like that. The good news is I have an extra week to see my family and friends and get the rest of my life into storage.
Since it turns out I actually am leaving soon and while I’ve had moments I don’t think “it” has quite hit me yet. When do you think it will?
