Screencasting my classroom – Edmodo – Editing & Deleting

by Mike Still

The next assignment for EDUC932 was to make a Screencast that will help instruct our students.  A screencast is a recording of the computer screen and is incredibly useful to teach students exactly how to do something.  I used Screencastify (A free Google Chrome extension)

I picked editing and deleting comments on www.Edmodo.com.  I use Edmodo as our LMS (Learning Management System) and students are required to respond to a daily question.  I’ve shown then countless times on the SmartBoard in class but still end up with double comments, unedited comments and a repeat comment rather than an edit.  I hope this screencast will help them learn how to edit and delete!
