Can I make money online with VIPKID?
If you want to teach English online with VIPKID you need to have a bachelor’s degree, US or Canadian work eligibility and one year of experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or in similar educational activities. If you meet those requirements go to the VIPKID website and sign up!
In order to join the VIPKID team you need to meet the following 3 requirements:
1. bachelor’s degree in any field;
2. one year of experience (e.g. tutoring, home-schooling, educational mentoring, etc.)
3. eligibility to work in US or Canada.

It’s amazing that you can take your classroom anywhere with VIPKID! Although it’s not required both teachers and students tend to have more fun love in these classes when you build a small classroom for you to teach in. Best way to make money teaching English online
Once you’ve joined the VIPKID team the best way to make money is by retaining students. If they are having fun in your classes than you can rest assured that their parents will keep booking you as their teacher! I have a lot of teaching experience and a Masters in Education but I still to learn a LOT from watching all their training videos so be sure to pay attention and take notes during your teacher prep for VIPKID.

There are lots of great videos both from VIPKID and their teachers that give you tips for being the best teacher. When you apply they put you through a few hour course that does a wonderful job teaching you basic principles of teaching and focuses on relevant skills that you’ll use to keep students coming back again and again.
VIPKID recommends teachers get a headset to help assure a good audio connection.
I’m a HUGE fan of VIPKIDS’ flipped classroom model. I tried it with my 4th grade Korean students and they LOVED it. A flipped lesson is one where the students learn before they talk to the teacher and the teacher’s main job is to correct errors in the learning while practicing crucial skills. Its super rewarding when you’re a little student has trouble pronouncing a word at the beginning of the class and then by the end can say it perfectly! Those rewarding experiences are doubly so because you can guarantee that the parents will notice an improvement and keep booking you for classes. That means it’ll be even easier for you to make money online teaching English!
